To use a creative approach to the way we use our urban landscape so that we are better able to look after the environment, ourselves and each other.

We view all living things and social systems as interconnected and in relationship and therefore we consider the need to think carefully about how our consumption impacts these dynamic and complex relationships. Respect for both people and the planet are at the core of everything we do and GLUE holds strongly to the belief that we should always aim to be doing things in a manner which will enhance people’s environments and lives rather than bringing damage.

Who is GLUE?

Glue Collective operates as a Workers Cooperative based in the city of Birmingham. We are a group of artists and community workers seeking to address current and emerging, social, health and economic challenges in our local communities. This primarily involves the development of unused plots of land for a range of initiatives under the umbrella of visual arts and providing access to nature as a fundamental need for human growth and development.

We are united by our collective commitment to developing an enterprise that reflects our values and interests, these are based on being self expressive, creative, and resourceful.
